Today is a very bittersweet day as we say goodbye

Today is a very bittersweet day as we say goodbye to our wonderful Executive Director, Lisa Meier. Lisa has been the Green Lake Area Chamber director for 4 years, and in that time, she has truly grown Green Lake in every way possible.

She brought back and added events like #HireMeNow, Wine Walk, Keep the Cheer Here, WinterFest, and our concierge workshop for the J1 students. Lisa has helped increase our numbers for Concerts in the Park on Wednesdays and has been a part of many different committees like Green Lake City AD Hoc, Green Lake County Economic Development, and Future of the Fair. This is just the tip of the iceberg of what Lisa has brought to our little town and we appreciate how much she advocated for this wonderful community. She truly put Green Lake on the map for visitors and our community.

We will truly miss her, but we’re so excited for her next Journey.

Thank you, Lisa, for showing us all how lucky we are to have this beautiful community. 💚
