These select young musicians, chosen nationally and even internationally to be part of the Green Lake Festival of Music Chamber Music Camp, perform music they’ve mastered during their two weeks together, with coaching and lessons from the artist faculty. This experience develops chamber music skills that serve well in daily life as well, such as: listening; watching; communicating effectively; sensing; being well-prepared individually — and knowledgeable about the composer’s intentions and each other’s parts; compromising; leading; being ready for spontaneity and improvisation if something unexpected happens; cooperation; a sense of humor; openness; perspective; and life-long friendships.
