| Hello from Green Lake Wisconsin 1/15/2003
Another year is over and a fresh New Year has begun, we are looking forward to an even better 2003! All of the 2002 Chamber Events and activities were successful. If you were able to make it to a, any, or all event(s) we thank you for helping make them successful. If you have any questions or comments about any event please let us know, we welcome and value your input. We are working on Winterfest 2003, our first event of the year, which will be held February 8th & 9th. Some of the activities planned include: Ice Bowling, Ice Golf, Fire & Ice 5K Candlelight Walk/Run, Miss Winterfest Competition, Fisheree, Helicopter Rides, Horse & Wagon Rides, Winterfest Dance, Games --- for those of you who have already received a Winterfest flier please forgive us for rambling on, but we get so excited about our events. If you would like to know more, just let us know and we will send you a flier.
Green Lake will be celebrating "Romantic Getaway Month" in February and many of the businesses have put packages together. Some of these packages include: Lodging, Dinner, Breakfast, Spa Experience, Flowers --- all of these guaranteed to help in the romance department. Let us know if you would like more information, we would be happy to help you.
For those of you who are on the waiting list for our 2003 Visitor's Guide, they will be here tomorrow the 16th and we will be sending them out as soon as possible. If you would like to be added to that list, just let us know.
Please, remember that you are always welcome in Green Lake. There is always something to do and/or see. With the Lake finally icing over and even though there is no snow, yet, the sights here are grand. Besides our events we do have many great places to shop, dine, stay, and just enjoy!
Until next time, take care and hope to see you soon! |
