The weather here has been beautiful.  We feel that this is great weather for a Circus (Thursday, August 7th), Bernie's Rock Fest (August 8th & 9th), Fine Art Show (August 9th & 10th), a concert, strolling, sight seeing, shopping (Don’t forget Reel in the Deal Days is August 1 & 2), boating, swimming, checking out the restaurants, staying at one of our cozy lodging establishments, etc, etc, etc. There are so many things happening in August, so please take a look at our Calendar of Events.

All those who attended our Old Fashioned 4^th of July Celebration seemed to have had a great time.  Included is a picture of Green Lake’s Mayor Behlen in this year's 4^th of July Parade.  All the oohs and aahs during the fireworks display were a good indication that they were sensational! 

The Green Lake County Free Fair is going on right now through August 3rd, at the Fairgrounds.  If you would like more information on this please call 920-294-4032.

We had our Family Picnic Night for Concerts in the Park on July 16th.  I have never seen so many people in the Park.  The members of the UW Marching Band made our day with a spectacular show and Copper Box really kept the crowd going.  The meals sold out, so in our eyes it was a great day.  “Concerts in the Park” has 3 more concerts for you to enjoy, August 6 with Orange Blossom Special, August 13 with Quest & the Rippin’ Horns, and August 20 with Newtonburg Brass Band.  Hope you come and enjoy!
