Hello from Green Lake Wisconsin! 4/28/2004

We have had Chamber of Commerce days here in Green Lake weather wise.  We have also had the rain, which is what spring is all about.  BUT no matter what the weather, Green Lake's beauty does not dim.

Tomorrow is Green Lake's Great City Wide Garage Sale, whether you are having a sale or just coming we wish you good luck.  Don't forget to stop by the Chamber Office and check out our sale items.

Our Chamber Committees are hard at work getting events organized for the summer and fall.  Listed below are just a few…

Summer Solstice:  The Committee is still working on adding entertainment to our big Pajama Party.  There will be a Street Dance, Food, Beverages, Horse and Wagon Rides, Face Painting, Howl at the Moon Contest, Bed Races (by participating Chamber Lodging owners/employees), an Evening Stroll (Pick up a Stroll Card, visit participating shops-get the card stamped-when done drop in Stroll Card box for a chance to win Chamber gift certificates worth $100.00), Cutest PJ and Slipper Contest,  Raffle for one or more Giant Green Lake Gift Baskets (valued at over $300.00 each), Clowns, specials and more.  All this awaits you in Green Lake on June 19, 2004 from 6 to 11 p.m.

Circus:  This is a reminder about the Alain Zerbini Circus scheduled for June 20, 2004 at the Green Lake County Fairgrounds.  As you can tell by the picture above the circus is not only for the young, but also for the young at heart.

Concerts in the Park:   This year, 8 concerts have been scheduled beginning June 23 through August 18 on Wednesday nights from 6:30-8:30.  The UW Marching Band will be back again on Family Picnic Night, July 21 beginning at 5:30 p.m.  A must see!  Next month we will let you know the band schedule.  The committee is working on making the buttons unique this year, so we will have to just wait and see what they come up with.

If you would like more information please check out our website or give us a call.

Don't Forget--besides our events we do have many things-to-do, along with great places to shop, dine, stay, play, or just come and enjoy the sights.

Until next time, take care and we hope to see you soon.
