It has been a very hot and dry summer up until the last couple day when we finally got some well needed rain!

The weather has been great for...

-golfing (even mini golfing)

-dining

-fishing

-camping

-picnicking

-sailing

-staying at our cozy lodging establishments

-etc, etc, etc.

Recap on our main July events...

-All those who attended our 4^th of July Celebration seemed to have a good time.  The parade was nice, games were fun, music was good, food was great, and the weather was very cooperative!  The fireworks were fine.   We can always use a helping hand at our events-it can be fun.  Just see how happy these volunteers were when they helped out at the 4th of July Chamber tent. 

-We had our Family Picnic Night for Concerts in the Park on July 20.  The rain was kind enough to stop just before the UW Marching Band started up.  The members of the UW Marching Band made our day with a spectacular show along with Quest and the Rippin' Horns.  We had plenty of hotdogs, hamburgers, brats, chips, popcorn, cookies, soda, and water available for everyone.  If you came, we hope you enjoyed!
