Hello from Green Lake Wisconsin! 4/28/2006

People are now fishing (as you can see), walking, riding, and some even playing tennis.  The grass is that golf course green and the trees are starting to leaf.  Picnic benches are out of hiding and waiting for picnickers to come.  What a wonderful sight to see.

For those of you who like the look of our website at www.visitgreenlake.com we hope you really like our redesign that will be coming soon after it's unveiling at the Green Lake Area Chamber Annual Dinner on the evening of May 1st.

Green Lake's Great City Wide Garage Sale is Saturday, May 6th and whether you are having a sale or finding treasures, we wish you good luck.  Don't forget to stop at 550 Mill Street and check out the items for sale to help out with our building maintenance.  For those who would rather be fishing  - Large Mouth Bass, Small Mouth Bass, Northern Pike, Brown Trout, and Walleye Seasons re-open May 6, 2006.

Coming soon - Chamber Events listed below along with inside information…

Summer Solstice:  Saturday, June 17 from 10am-10pm.  Fun for all, Green Lake's Big Pajama Party!  There will be a Street Dance, Food, Beverages, Car Show, Horse and Wagon Rides, Face Painting, Howl at the Moon Contest, Bed Races (forms are on-line), Jar Guess at participating shops, Cutest PJ and Slipper Contest, Cookie Contest, Raffle for one or more Giant Green Lake Gift Baskets (valued at over $300.00 each), Clowns, specials and more.

We do have many things-to-do, along with great places to shop, dine, stay, play, or just come and enjoy the sights of Green Lake-check out our Things To Do page.  For those who would like to know where they could hear Live Music while visiting Green Lake, we have them scheduled on our website Calendar of Events
