Hello from Green Lake Wisconsin! 8/30/2006

September is tomorrow with some schools started, starting or about to start.  Fall is in the air and I have been told that further up-north leaves are already starting to change.

Recapping on some of the things that happened this month...
-Green Lake County Free Fair on August 3-6 had a great theme "Blue Skies & Butterflies" and they had both all four days with the Butterfly Fun House (big hit), butterfly art contest and definitely had blue skies.  I wonder what they will come up with for next year?
-Reel in the Deal Days on August 4 & 5 had shoppers reeling in those sales on great must have items.
-Starlite Stage Series (Concerts in the Park), last two concerts were on August 9 & 16.  There was great attendance at all the concerts this year with a lot of dancing.
-Fine Art Show on August 12 & 13 was very well attended.  I was able to attend and wow there was an awesome array of talent again.
-9th Annual Friendship Bicycle Tour had participants enjoying Green Lake's beautiful scenery.

Below is information on some of the things coming up in September...
