February 2007
Hello from Green Lake Wisconsin! 2/27/2007

WINTERFEST

The weather for Winterfest was great.  We had some snow and enough ice to have the Fisheree.  The first ever Ice Shanty Tour was a nice addition to this event and we thank Rich for participating.  Also, thanks to the soup cooks for participating in the first soup contest. Congratulations to Green Lake's 2007 Miss Winterfest, Leslie Wallenfang, pictured here at the Winterfest activities on Saturday, February 10.  You will see her at our other 2007 Green Lake events and in the parades.  To everyone who braved the cold and joined in making our first event of 2007 a success--Thank you.   This event was made possible thanks to the co-sponsoring of the Green Lake Kiwanis Club.

GREEN LAKE'S GREAT CITY WIDE GARAGE SALE
The Chamber's next endeavor is May 5, 2007, Green Lake's Great City Wide Garage Sale.  For the third year in a row the Green Lake Area Chamber will once again be participating.  Please make 550 Mill Street one of your stops when looking for a great deal.  Everything at our sale is due to the generosity of our Chamber members and individuals in the area.  We would like this to be THE best sale ever and the money goes toward the Chamber building maintenance.
