Hello from Green Lake Wisconsin! 3/29/2007

GREEN LAKE GREAT CITY WIDE GARAGE SALE, MAY 5, 2007
The Chamber, located at 550 Mill Street, will be participating in Green Lake's Great City Wide Garage Sale for the third year in a row.  Thanks to the generosity of our Chamber Members and individuals in the area there should be a wide variety of items for everyone.  So far, we have mirrors, pictures, household items, furniture and pillows.  Hopefully next month we can give you a more detailed list.  With your help we can have one of THE best sales ever.  All proceeds go toward the Chamber building maintenance fund, which helps all our Chamber Members and our Community as well.  You will see a lot of signs like the sign to your right throughout Green Lake on May 5.

SUMMER SOLSTICE, JUNE 16, 2007
Summer Solstice; Green Lake's Big Pajama Party would like you to help celebrate our 10th Anniversary.  From 10am-5pm participating business will help kick off this event with specials and more.  From 5-10pm participating business will stay open, so that you can still take advantage of their specials, along with enjoying the activities such as: Bed Races, Cutest Pajama Contest, Cutest Bedroom Slipper Contest, Howl at the Moon Contest and Cookie Contest.  There will be food, refreshments and a raffle for Giant Green Lake Baskets, valued at $300 to $1,000.  More information on this event will follow in the next two newsletters.  Per the photo you can see that young and old come out in their pajamas for this event.

CONCERTS IN THE PARK, starting JUNE 20, 2007
The Concerts in the Park Committee is pleased to present the 20th Starlite Stage-Concerts in the Park Series.  Holly Yeazel has agreed to be our Concert Host again.  Green Lake art students will once again be asked to do the sandwich board signs that you see each week announcing who will be performing that night and the next week. As you can see by the photo people come early to get a good spot.  Green Lake High School students are planning brat fries, again this year, in the Deacon Mills Park area.  Our tentative concert schedule is:
