The Green Lake Area Chamber of Commerce will be hosting a holiday tree lighting ceremony & Santa visit by boat in downtown Green Lake on November 27th.

When: November 27th, 2020
Where: Green Lake Area Chamber of Commerce (550 Mill Street) & Playground Park

Time:
• 4:30 p.m. – Enjoy cookies and hot chocolate outside the Green Lake Area Chamber of Commerce office
• 5:00 p.m. Santa Row In – Wait on the shoreline of the Mill Pond for Santa’s arrival by boat!
• 5:30 p.m. – Santa lights the holiday tree!
• 5:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. – Socially distanced photos with Santa

Details:
We encourage local businesses, residents, and children of all ages to create and decorate an ornament in memory of a loved one, their business logo, or something just fun! We recommend that the ornaments are environmentally friendly, no glass, please. Ornaments can be placed on the tree beginning the weekend of November 21st prior to the lighting on the 27th. Please be sure to zip tie or adhere your ornament tightly to the tree.

Children are encouraged to write a letter to Santa by dropping it off at the Chamber’s North Pole mailbox, located at Town Square or the Chamber of Commerce’s parking lot until December 21st.

For the safety of our attendees and volunteers, please note that we encourage wearing a face mask and adhere to proper social distancing recommended guidelines. Families will have the opportunity to take a picture with Santa following the tree lighting. Santa will be socially distanced in the sleigh and families must remain 6’ away when taking their family photo. Please be respectful and cooperate with our request so we can have a fun-filled and safe evening.
