We are excited to have our first book reading & signing at Vines & Rushes Winery! The best part, we will have 2 authors, one for adults and one for children who will be reading, selling and signing the books they have written.

Joy Ann Ribar Wisconsin Author and Wisconsin native, embraces her Scandinavian roots of wine-tasting and food munching from every culture. The author of the children’s books is Sue Drexler, a long time resident of the Town of Algoma, has written and illustrated the first 6 books of 12 in Series 1 of Island Boy Adventures. These children’s books feature family experiences in a unique location that are entertaining and educational.

We encourage you to wear something comfy, grab a glass of wine, sit back and relax! Encourage your kids to bring their favorite blanket and/or stuffed animal, we will have a snack for them to enjoy!
