Does your child love to sing? Love to dance? Jo Ellen Madden invites students going into their 4th, 5th and 6th grades to her Broadway Music Camp held at Town Square Community Center. The kids will learn to sing It’s a Hard Knock Life from Annie, I just Can’t Wait to be King, from Lion King, A Whole New World from Aladdin, Popular from Wicked and Be Our Guest from Beauty and the Beast. They will also choreograph these songs, learn about stage presence, costume and performing, all culminating in a fun show for the public on Friday, July 24 at 11:30 am.

Camp Times: 9:30 am to Noon, Monday, July 20 through Friday, July 24. Grades 4-6

Kids will need to bring a mid-morning snack to be eater at 11:30 am each day with other campers and Mrs. Madden.

About the Instructor: Jo Ellen Madden loves sharing her joy of music with children who love music too. She has been director of a children’s choir in Evanston, Illinois for 27 years, and just last May took her 50-member choir to sing the National Anthem at the Cubs game at Wrigley Field. Jo Ellen is a Green Lake advocate and so enjoys this community and all that it offers.
