Ric Szczepkowski has been working in the photo industry since 1984, starting in a private studio doing retouching, portraits, weddings, industrial, and school photography. He moved into a commercial studio in the early 90s for 5 years, finally finding himself in a camera store when a move necessitated a job change. For the last 20 years, Ric has shot mostly landscapes with long exposure being an emphasis for the last 10 years. Though family and friends still pull him into the portrait photography end of the industry, his passion is in landscape and education these days. He started teaching during grad school and continued training new photographers at both studios where he worked in. Today, he continues to teach classes and run seminars through Camera Corner in Green Bay.
