Anthony Holt is our featured artist for the month of November.

” I started New Light Mosaics with the help from my BEAUTIFUL wife Jenni and my wonderful family. With the vision of a home business we wanted to find a way to support our family and enjoy art at the same time. We were blessed with an amazing daughter Ella in 2012 and we decided that it was the right time to launch “New Light Mosaics.”

Starting off with using scrap glass from a project and an old window from our house remodel, I created the first NLM. Seeing the reaction from my family and friends, I decided to make a couple to sell. I really found myself enjoying how much people enjoy what I create. I started off participating in a couple juried art shows throughout Wisconsin. The more shows I did, the more I enjoyed the art show life.

The name “New Light Mosaics” came from the amazing mind of my wife Jenni. Wanting those around us to see the love we have for God, these windows do just that! They give us a perfect picture of the love He has for us. Taking an old window that is on its way to the dumpster, the artist sees potential for a beautiful work of art. Since each window is different and beautiful in its own way, the artist places bright, bold and beautiful stained glass in just the perfect spot to bring about new life for the old window. The light shines so bright through the beautiful colors giving off a look like no other.
