Built in 1930, the course has a wide-open Scottish look and feel with deep fairway bunkers and huge elevated greens. Located on the beautiful historic grounds of Green Lake Conference Center, Lawsonia offers two wonderfully unique 18 hole courses on the same property. The Woodlands Course is carved out of the pine forest that borders Green Lake, featuring tree-lined fairways along with severe elevation drops. Other amenities include warm up range and practice green, fully stocked golf shop, on-site bar/restaurant–Langford’s Pub, and private or group lessons. On-site lodging and group outings are also available.

    Established in 1975 by Larry Packard, Mascoutin is a magnificent 18-hole golf course carved through century-old trees. Giant undulating greens test your putting, sand traps galore wait to swallow an errant shot, and water hazards come into play on the final four holes. With bent-grass fairways and superb conditioning, the layout appeals to golfers of all abilities. The “Blue” nine–added in 1999–features waste bunkering, elevation changes, forced natural hazard carries, river views, water hazards, and a “cliff” hole, making it a spectacular golfing experience. With a championship practice facility and 27 holes of championship golf, Mascoutin is “Wisconsin’s Best Kept Secret,” located six miles north of Green Lake.

    Tuscumbia is the oldest golf course in Wisconsin, bearing the slogan “Where History Lingers on Every Green.” Tuscumbia’s public 18-hole, 6,301-yard, par-71 layout is one of the best manicured courses in the state. Tuscumbia provides a park-like setting of majestic evergreens and century-old hardwoods, thick rough, tight fairways, and a rolling landscape. A log clubhouse with a large rustic fireplace and charming décor accommodates outing arrangements, dinner parties, banquets, and meetings. Other amenities include motorized carts, 9th-hole snack shop, driving range, practice green, fully stocked pro shop, club repairs, and storage and locker rooms.     This challenging 18-hole golf course is carved out of ancient glacier-formed land with an unusual western style apparent by exquisite, natural landscaping and hilltop scenic views of rolling terrain, vast woods, sloped greens, free-roaming peacocks, and spring-fed ponds. The par-72 layout sprawls over 200+ acres of natural paradise and encompasses two separate circles of nine holes, which provide significant elevation changes. The course’s newest nine has more than a dozen pond barriers, traps, trees, and wooded areas. The 15th hole has a trap-protected dogleg left, fairway pond, and a tree-buried green. Clubhouse amenities include a pro shop, practice green, bar, and sandwich shop. White Lake Golf Club is just minutes from Green Lake, between Montello and Princeton, off Highway 23.
